MIT Health Cuts Prior Auth Time by 45% With Notable Tech, Vendor Says
MIT Health reduced its average prior authorization handling time from 11 minutes to six minutes per case after implementing technology from Notable, according to a case study published by the vendor on June 9, 2026. The 45% time reduction was measured across more than 750 cases.

The system, called Notable Sidekick, embeds into the provider's workflows to reduce manual tasks like printing documents and re-entering data. The vendor also reported that MIT Health staff have experienced fewer denials and a decreased need for peer-to-peer reviews since the go-live.
