The rankings represent an increase from six specialties in the previous year, with Gastroenterology being a new addition for the hospital. The seven ranked institutes and their national positions are: Gastrointestinal Care (#48), Endocrine Care (#56), Orthopedic Care (#61), Pulmonary Care (#68), Cancer Care (#78), Cardiac Care (#82), and Neurological Care (#172). The hospital's orthopedic and gastrointestinal programs are partnerships with Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Gastro Florida, respectively.

The selection methodology for the annual rankings includes an evaluation of hospital quality metrics, recommendations from medical professionals, patient experience surveys, and assessments of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). The process evaluates measures such as mortality, patient safety, readmissions, and specialty-specific clinical outcomes.
