AHN Medical Director Calls for Systemic Response to Perinatal Mental Health
In a statement published by Aspira Women's Health on June 7, 2026, Dr. Ewurama Sackey, medical director of women’s behavioral health at AHN, described perinatal mental health conditions as “common, serious and highly treatable.” The statement noted that nearly one in five women experience these disorders.
