JRMC CEO Mike Delfs Named to Becker's 2026 List of Rural Hospital Leaders
Mike Delfs, President and CEO of Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC), was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 list of “146 rural hospital and health system presidents and CEOs to know,” according to a May 30, 2026 report in the *Jamestown Sun*. The annual list recognizes leaders for contributions to rural healthcare through innovation and strategic leadership.

Delfs has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, having previously served as a director, chief operating officer, and CEO at other hospitals and health systems. The recognition also noted his background in healthcare education, which includes teaching leadership at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Under Delfs' leadership, JRMC has received national recognition, including being named a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association and a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. The facility also holds a Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
