Dayton VA Medical Center Implements New EHR System
The Dayton VA Medical Center launched a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system on or around June 6, 2026. The implementation is part of a national initiative to change how veteran healthcare is tracked.

According to VA leaders, the system is designed to keep health records more unified and organized. It will provide a complete health history for veterans, starting from their enlistment and continuing throughout their lives.
Government officials stated the new program will benefit both providers and veterans. The EHR is scheduled to be deployed across all VA medical facilities by 2031.
