Schwan brings more than 20 years of healthcare finance experience. He most recently was CFO of [Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center](https://app.clinicalterminal.com/hospital/379176) in Las Vegas, a 331-bed facility, where he supported strategic growth and investments to expand clinical capabilities, including new operating rooms, freestanding emergency departments and inpatient rehabilitation beds.

Before Southern Hills, he held finance leadership roles at hospitals in the Kansas City area, serving as CFO of Lee's Summit Medical Center for seven years and as controller of Centerpoint Medical Center for two years.
