Baystate Health names Thomas Scott president and COO of Baystate Medical Center
Baystate Health has named Thomas Scott president and COO of Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass., effective Nov. 2, according to an Oct. 23 health system news release shared with Becker's Hospital Review.

Scott will oversee hospital operations and lead initiatives focused on clinical quality, employee engagement, operational efficiency and financial performance.
He most recently served as president and CEO of CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, N.J., where he led operational turnarounds, strategic expansions and growth in key service lines. Baystate said Scott brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience to the role.
