Bon Secours Mercy Health Taps Eli Clark for Finance Data and Analytics VP Role

In his new role, Clark will focus on financial data innovation. He said in the post that this includes exploring “responsible and real-world applications of agents, large language models and other emerging technologies.”

Clark joins the Cincinnati-based health system from Intermountain Health. At the Salt Lake City-based system, he served as senior director of business decision support analytics, according to his LinkedIn page cited in the report. He also previously held the role of senior manager of cost stewardship at Intermountain.

Clinical Terminal records show Bon Secours Mercy Health is a customer of companies including Ensemble Health Partners and Commercehealthcare. A vendor-published report states that a partnership with Ensemble resulted in a “20% boost in collections and consistent increases in patient satisfaction scores.” A separate post about the collaboration noted a goal to “simplify financial interactions” and “reduce friction for patients.”
