NYC Health + Hospitals Names Verna Mitchell CNO of Coler Skilled Nursing Facility
NYC Health + Hospitals has named Verna Mitchell, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler, an 815-bed skilled nursing facility on Roosevelt Island, according to an Oct. 20 system news release.

Mitchell will oversee budget and resources, training and development, regulatory compliance and resident safety, and will lead more than 450 nursing professionals at the facility.
She joined the health system in 2019 and most recently served as deputy director of nursing at the Coler hospital.
