Turquoise Health Raises $40M for AI-Powered Contracting Platform
Turquoise Health, a healthcare pricing and payments platform, has raised $40 million in a Series C funding round led by Oak HC/FT, the company announced on March 17, 2026.

Existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Adams Street Partners, and Yosemite also participated in the round, according to Business Wire and Pulse2.com. The new capital brings Turquoise Health's total funding to between $95 million and $100 million, multiple reports stated.
The company said it will use the funds to accelerate product development, expand its go-to-market efforts, and increase its staff. With the investment, Turquoise aims to evolve from a data vendor into a comprehensive platform that serves as an "operating system for healthcare contracts and payments," the company said in a statement.
"Our goal has always been to move the industry toward clear, accurate, and actionable healthcare pricing," Chris Severn, Turquoise CEO and co-founder, said in a statement published by Fierce Healthcare. "By evolving from a data vendor to a full workflow and transaction platform, we are building the infrastructure for transparent, real-time payments."
Founded in 2020, Turquoise Health launched to help patients understand healthcare costs upfront, according to media reports. The company has since expanded to a platform that centralizes pricing data, contract information, and clinical coverage rules to streamline payments between providers and payers. Its AI-powered tools include Clear Rates, which aggregates pricing data; Contracts, which analyzes contract portfolios; and AskTQ, a conversational AI tool for research, according to Pulse2.com and HLTH.
Turquoise reports having more than 280 customers, including major health systems, national payers, and pharmaceutical companies, and has grown to nearly 200 employees, Pulse2.com reported.
