Mount Sinai Hospital Ranked No. 1 in New York for Cardiology in Newsweek's "World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2027"
The Mount Sinai Hospital said it was ranked the No. 1 hospital in New York for cardiology in Newsweek's "World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2027," according to the hospital's own post about the ranking. The hospital said this is the seventh consecutive year it has held the top New York spot for cardiology.

The same post said Mount Sinai also ranked No. 1 in New York for gastroenterology, for the second year in a row, and for nephrology, for the first time. Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside together ranked in the top 10 locally for cardiology, according to the post.
The post did not include the methodology, number of hospitals evaluated, or the metrics behind the rankings; those details are attributed to Newsweek's list. The ranking is dated 2027 in the list title, and the post was published on October 14, 2026.
