Inova names Raj Chand permanent president of Loudoun Hospital
Inova Health System has named Raj Chand, MD, president of Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Va., according to an Oct. 1 health system news release cited by Becker's Hospital Review. Chand had served as interim president of the 211-bed hospital since Aug. 3.
Chand previously was president of Inova Fair Oaks (Va.) Hospital, a role he held since 2021 after serving as that hospital's chief medical officer beginning in 2020. He joined Inova in 2006 as an emergency physician at Inova Fairfax Hospital and has held clinical and administrative leadership posts across the system, including interim president of Inova's Medicine Service Line in 2024.
Before joining the Fair Oaks leadership team, Chand was president of Virginia Emergency Medicine Associates. In the Loudoun role, he will oversee operations and continued growth at the hospital.
