SGMC Health Appoints Jessica Musgrove as Director of Cardiology Services
SGMC Health named Jessica Musgrove its new Director of Cardiology Services, the health system announced on October 9, 2026. Musgrove has been with SGMC Health for 17 years, most recently serving as Director of Surgical Services.
In her new position, Musgrove will provide strategic and operational leadership for the cardiology service line. According to SGMC Health, her focus will be on strengthening access, quality, efficiency, and the patient experience. “My goal is to build on the strong foundation already in place, strengthen collaboration between our teams, and continue creating an environment where our physicians and staff can provide exceptional care to our patients,” Musgrove said in the announcement.
SGMC Health described itself as the region's leader in heart care and a Level I Emergency Cardiac Care Center. The organization also stated it operates the only hospital in its area with a full open-heart surgery program, a structural heart center, and an advanced heart rhythm program.
