Vanderbilt Children's Taps Advocate Health Exec for New Chief Pediatric Strategy Officer Role

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has named Nicole Sibol its first vice president and chief pediatric enterprise strategy officer, according to an Oct. 8 announcement. Sibol, who currently serves as enterprise vice president of strategy and business development at Advocate Health, is scheduled to begin the new role on Nov. 1.

In the newly created position, Sibol will join the executive leadership team and focus on the children's hospital's long-term vision for growth and programming. She will also work with Vanderbilt Health’s business development team, under David Posch, to align pediatric strategy with the broader health system.

Sibol has more than a decade of experience in strategic planning and business development. Before her time at Advocate Health, she held senior leadership roles at Chicago-based Rush University System for Health and Presence Health. According to the news release, Monroe Carell President Jamie Phillips cited Sibol's "strategic expertise and operational insight" as valuable for the hospital's future.
