DCH Health System Names Briana Houston Permanent VP of Marketing and Communications
DCH Health System has appointed Briana Houston as its permanent vice president of marketing and communications, a role she had held on an interim basis since late May. The Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based system announced the promotion in an Oct. 2 news release.
In her position, Houston oversees the three-hospital system’s marketing and communications strategy, which includes media relations, internal and external communications, and brand management. She joined DCH in September 2024 as director of business outreach.
Ms. Houston has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, business development, and strategic growth, mostly within the healthcare industry. According to DCH COO Mallary Myers, DNP, Houston earned the role after demonstrating “strong leadership and an ability to bring people together around our mission” during her interim period.
