Altru Health System names Dr. Jeremy Gardner chief medical officer

Gardner will work with medical staff and leaders on clinical priorities, physician engagement, quality and patient safety, the release states. He will continue practicing as an orthopedic surgeon alongside the CMO role.

Gardner has been with Altru for more than 16 years and most recently served as medical director of orthopedics and neurosciences. The appointment was reported by Becker's Hospital Review.
