Abridge Highlights Corewell Clinician's Use of Its Clinical Decision Support Tool

Abridge published a first-person account from Dr. Kristin Jacob, an internal medicine-pediatrics clinician and Medical Director of Physician and APP Well-Being at Corewell Health, describing how she uses the company's Abridge Assistant in outpatient practice. The tool provides context-aware decision support drawing on the patient conversation, chart, and medical literature, according to the Oct. 7, 2026, post.

Jacob said she uses the assistant most for pre-charting, citing a reduction in weekend preparation time for her roughly 12-hour Monday clinic schedule, and also during visits and when responding to patient messages. She described using it to review anticoagulation risk ahead of a preoperative consult and to check a patient's QTc history before starting a new medication.

Abridge said the assistant is now live across more than 300 health systems. The post did not disclose pricing, contract terms, or independently verified performance data.
