Commure Raises $70M at $7B Valuation to Scale Healthcare AI Operations
Commure, an AI platform for healthcare, announced $70 million in financing at a $7 billion post-money valuation, according to a company press release dated May 19, 2026. General Catalyst led the round, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Morgan Stanley, and Kirkland & Ellis.

The company said its revenue cycle management platform and clinical workflow tools operate within more than 500 healthcare organizations across 3,000-plus sites of care, including over 130 health systems such as HCA Healthcare and Tenet Healthcare, alongside thousands of physician-owned practices. Commure said its end-to-end RCM processes tens of billions of dollars in annual payments and completes more than 85% of work without human intervention, while its Ambient AI suite supports tens of millions of appointments annually.
Commure said the capital will be used to scale its revenue cycle and practice management platform across specialty practices, hospitals, and integrated delivery networks, advance its shared intelligence layer for agentic systems, and expand AI infrastructure into global healthcare markets. CEO Tanay Tandon said AI can perform administrative work that prior software could not, and General Catalyst CEO Hemant Taneja described the company as building a system of agents rather than a feature or co-pilot.
Commure operates alongside its subsidiary Athelas, delivering AI across the front, middle, and back of the revenue cycle.
