FirstHealth of the Carolinas names Jeremy Stephens chief people officer
Jeremy Stephens has been appointed chief people officer of Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas, joining the system in July, according to Becker's Hospital Review.

Stephens most recently served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Tidelands Health in Murrells Inlet, S.C., where he oversaw compensation, benefits, talent acquisition and organizational development.
He brings more than 30 years of HR leadership experience, including senior roles at University of Michigan Health System and Chelsea (Mich.) Community Hospital, part of Trinity Health. He also served as cabinet-level CHRO for the state of Michigan, overseeing HR strategy for more than 50,000 employees.
FirstHealth is a nonprofit network licensed for four hospitals and 546 beds, with 6,600 employees serving 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas.
