Trinity Health West Region CEO Odette Bolano to retire in June 2024
Odette C. Bolano, CEO of Trinity Health's West Region and president of Saint Alphonsus Health System, will retire in June 2024, the health system announced Sept. 20. Bolano was the first CEO of the West Region, which unites Saint Alphonsus in Idaho and Oregon with Saint Agnes Medical Center in California. She had served in executive leadership for Saint Alphonsus for eight years, the last five as president and CEO.

Bolano joined Trinity Health in 2016. During her tenure, Saint Alphonsus was named a Top 15 Health System by IBM Watson and recognized by U.S. News & World Report, and she oversaw the 2023 opening of Idaho's first advanced Neuro, Surgical, Trauma Intensive Care Unit. Ben Carter, Trinity Health's executive vice president and COO, credited her with leaving a lasting mark on the communities served.
Bolano also serves as chair-elect of the Idaho Hospital Association, chair of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of Idaho Power/IDACORP, among other civic roles. A search for her successor will begin in January 2024.
