Freeman Health System names Kory Browning market president for Northwest Arkansas
Joplin, Mo.-based Freeman Health System has named Kory Browning market president for Northwest Arkansas, according to a Sept. 1 system news release. Browning, who serves as CEO of Freeman Health System–Springdale (Ark.) Medical Center, had been interim market president since June 14.

Browning brings more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience, including prior service as COO. His appointment follows Freeman's $110 million acquisition of four Arkansas hospitals on June 1, a deal that doubled the system's hospital footprint and made it a four-state operator.
