SSM Health regional CFO Matt Kinsella departs for Trinity Health role
Matt Kinsella, a regional CFO within St. Louis-based SSM Health, is leaving to take a new position at Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, according to a Becker's Hospital Review report published Sept. 1, 2026.

Kinsella spent 18 years with SSM Health, most recently serving as regional CFO for SSM Health Wisconsin-Care Delivery in Madison, Wis., per his LinkedIn profile. He announced the move in an Aug. 22 LinkedIn post, saying he was excited to begin a new chapter with Trinity Health.
Before taking the Wisconsin role in 2019, Kinsella was regional CFO for SSM Health's Southern Illinois region starting in 2016. He joined the system in 2008 as a senior financial analyst.
