Confluence Health Appoints Katie Peterson as Chief Medical Officer
Wenatchee, Wash.-based Confluence Health has named Katie Peterson, MD, as its chief medical officer.

In her new role, Dr. Peterson will lead the system’s work in quality, safety, and medical staff leadership, according to a July 29 announcement from the health system. An OB-GYN, she previously held leadership positions focused on value-based care and population health.
Dr. Peterson succeeds James Murray, MD, who has moved into a new role as Confluence Health’s chief physician executive.
