Waystar names Amit Khanna CPTO, promotes Todd Woods to CCO
Revenue cycle management company Waystar has made two executive leadership appointments aimed at accelerating innovation, client adoption and durable growth, according to an Aug. 25 news release reported by Becker's Hospital Review.

Amit Khanna was named chief product and technology officer, leading Waystar's product and technology strategy as the company continues to invest in AI, automation and platform innovation. Khanna brings more than 25 years of enterprise technology experience, most recently leading Salesforce's global healthcare business, where he directed AI strategy and helped develop Agentforce for Health. He previously held senior technology roles at SAP and First Data.
Todd Woods, a 24-year Waystar veteran, was promoted to chief commercial officer. Woods previously led the company's ambulatory, enterprise, channel and business development growth. In his new role, he will oversee commercial strategy and client relationships as Waystar works to expand adoption of its end-to-end revenue cycle platform.
Waystar CEO Matt Hawkins said in the release that the revenue cycle is entering a fundamentally new era where intelligent technology will increasingly orchestrate complex workflows and take action toward resolution, adding that Khanna brings world-class technology leadership and Woods brings unmatched knowledge of clients and market.
