Gaelynn McGavick, Former AHA Counsel, Appointed to Naples Comprehensive Health Board

McGavick previously served as Washington Counsel for the American Hospital Association, where she represented hospitals before Congress and the Department of Health and Human Services. Before her time at the AHA, she practiced healthcare law in Washington, D.C., with the firms Powers, Pyles, Sutter & O’Hare and later Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld.

According to the announcement, McGavick's involvement with NCH began in 2022 when she chaired a community outreach initiative and later served on the NCH Campaign Committee. She holds a Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law.
