30-year WakeMed veteran Seth Brody joins UNC Health as chief medical growth officer
Seth Brody, MD, has joined Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health as chief medical growth officer, according to a LinkedIn post and his profile. He began the role in August after nearly 30 years with Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed.

Brody first joined WakeMed in 1996 as a physician and held multiple leadership roles, including medical director of obstetrics, chief medical officer of WakeMed Cary Hospital, and most recently chief physician executive. He has also been a clinical professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the past 30 years.
WakeMed operates three acute care hospitals, a physical rehabilitation hospital, a mental health hospital, and four healthplexes with standalone emergency departments and outpatient services. UNC Health operates 20 hospitals and hundreds of clinics.
