# Texas Health Resources names Steven Schultz system pharmacy officer

Schultz previously served as vice president of pharmacy operations for Fort Worth, Texas-based [JPS Health Network](https://app.clinicalterminal.com/hospital/101146877), where he oversaw outpatient, inpatient, specialty, cancer center, surgical center and correctional pharmacies. JPS operates a 582-bed hospital and more than 25 clinics.

In his new role, Schultz will work to advance pharmacy practice and build pharmacy services across Texas Health, which includes 29 hospitals.
