Yale New Haven Health names Tara Henderson pediatric physician-in-chief
Tara Henderson, MD, has been selected as physician-in-chief of pediatrics for Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System, according to an Aug. 11 news release cited by Becker's Hospital Review.

Henderson will also serve as chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine and chief of pediatrics for Yale New Haven Hospital. Her appointments take effect Oct. 1, pending board approval.
Henderson currently chairs pediatrics at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She previously spent nearly 20 years at UChicago Medicine, where she led pediatric hematology, oncology and cellular therapies and founded the Childhood, Adolescent, and Young Adult Cancer Survivor Program.
