Banner Health names Charles Socci COO of Banner-University Medicine Tucson
Banner Health has appointed Charles Socci, RN, MBA, as Chief Operating Officer of Banner – University Medicine in Tucson, according to a system announcement published Aug. 14, 2026.

In the role, Socci will oversee day-to-day operations of acute-care hospitals, with responsibilities spanning quality, patient safety, service excellence, team engagement and fiscal stewardship. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience across complex academic health systems, where he has led large-scale operational initiatives.
