IHS California Area Director Beverly Miller retires after 33 years
The Indian Health Service (IHS) celebrated the retirement of California Area Director Beverly Miller on August 13, 2026, according to the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service. Miller's career with IHS spanned more than three decades, beginning in 1993 when she joined the California Area as a budget officer.
