Baptist Health names Thomas Gough EVP and COO, effective Sept. 14
Baptist Health has named Thomas Gough, MHA, as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective September 14, 2026, according to Baptist Medical Center Nassau.

Gough brings nearly four decades of executive leadership experience, including the past decade with WakeMed Health and Hospital System in Raleigh, North Carolina. In that role, he helped expand access to cancer care, opened new care locations, and improved patient safety.
The announcement was made via a social media post from Baptist Medical Center Nassau, part of the Baptist Health system.
