# Intermountain names Scott Peek president of Peaks Region, JV board seat

*Salt Lake City-based [Intermountain Health](https://app.clinicalterminal.com/hospital/862055) has named [Scott Peek](https://app.clinicalterminal.com/person/103931101) president of its Peaks Region, effective Aug. 16, according to an Aug. 12 system news release. Peek will oversee business and clinical operations across markets in Colorado, Montana, Eastern Wyoming and New Mexico.*

Peek previously served as the region's operational lead and market president for the Colorado Front Range. He joined Intermountain in January 2023 as Colorado Front Range market president. In his new role, he will also serve as strategic leader for Intermountain's Catholic assets and represent the system on the board of its joint venture with AdventHealth in Colorado's Front Range.
