Emory Healthcare names Susan Grant chief nurse executive
Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare has named Susan Grant, DNP, RN, chief nurse executive, effective Sept. 28, according to an Aug. 6 system news release shared with Becker's Hospital Review.

In the role, Grant will lead nursing and patient care services across the system and ensure nursing participates in clinical operations. She will set the vision, direction and standards for nursing excellence and provide direct leadership to Emory's chief nursing officers across 11 hospitals and its clinics.
Grant previously served as chief nurse executive and chief patient services officer at Emory Healthcare from 2006 to 2015. Most recently, she was chief clinical officer for a healthcare operations software company.
