Ochsner Chief Physician Executive Dr. Robert Hart to Retire After 30+ Years
Dr. Robert Hart, Ochsner Health’s chief physician executive and president of Ochsner Clinic, has announced his planned retirement at the end of 2026, according to Ochsner Health Plan. Hart joined Ochsner in 1994 as a medical staff physician in Baton Rouge.

Over his more than three decades with the health system, Hart advanced through a series of leadership roles, including department chair of pediatrics in Baton Rouge and regional medical director. His retirement marks the end of a long tenure that helped shape the organization.
