WellNow Urgent Care Deploys Commure AI to 600+ Providers, Cites 10% Documentation Quality Rise
WellNow Urgent Care deployed Commure's Ambient AI solution to more than 600 providers over a four-month period, according to a June 19 announcement from the vendor. The implementation has resulted in a 90% weekly active user rate across the urgent care network.
Following the deployment, WellNow reported a 10% increase in documentation quality scores between November 2025 and February 2026. According to the report, providers using the system are now able to complete their charting by the end of a 12-hour shift. Dr. Robert Biernbaum, WellNow's Chief Clinical Innovation Officer, was involved in the rollout, which began with a pilot program.
Commure's announcement highlighted the potential financial impact of improved documentation, stating that every 0.01 improvement in average acuity level could represent an estimated $500,000 in additional annual revenue. The report did not specify if WellNow had realized such gains.
