Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation Raises $8.5M for Surgical, Imaging, and Technology Upgrades
The Grande Ronde Hospital (GRH) Foundation announced on June 19, 2026, the closing of its four-year Healthier Together Capital Campaign, which raised more than $8.5 million. The fundraising effort, which began in 2022, drew over 11,700 individual gifts and pledges to fund service expansions in Northeast Oregon.

Campaign funds are being directed toward several capital projects. These include new operating and procedure rooms for a 96,000-square-foot Surgical Services expansion and a $3.5 million expansion of the Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Imaging Department, which is currently underway.
Funds will also partially support the acquisition of a da Vinci 5 Surgical System, a $3.7 million project, with the robotic-assisted platform anticipated to arrive in late summer or fall 2026. Other investments include updated furniture and equipment for the hospital's Family Birthing Center.
The foundation has also identified future priorities, including a potential expansion of its Regional Medical Center in La Grande to add clinical and workforce training space.
