Baystate Health Expands Oracle Health Partnership for System-Wide Technology Overhaul
On June 22, 2026, Baystate Health announced an expanded strategic relationship with Oracle Health to modernize its technology infrastructure. The western Massachusetts-based health system plans to deploy Oracle Health technologies across its network, which includes five hospitals, over 80 medical practices, and its health plan, Health New England.

The initiative involves implementing a suite of AI-powered solutions, including the Oracle Health EHR, Clinical AI Agent, AI Data Platform, Patient Accounting, and Patient Portal. The stated goals are to unify patient data, automate clinical documentation, streamline financial workflows, and provide patients with a single digital point of access to their health information.
Baystate Health, which serves over 800,000 people, intends for the unified technology platform to improve interoperability and reduce administrative tasks for its 13,000 caregivers. The system will also support the planned integration of Mercy Medical Center, a corporate affiliation slated for November 1, 2026, that is pending regulatory approval.
