CareSource Georgia Appoints Dr. Tamika Lasege Chief Medical Officer
On June 17, 2026, CareSource Georgia announced it has named Dr. Tamika Lasege its new chief medical officer. In the role, Dr. Lasege will oversee the nonprofit managed care organization's clinical strategy.

Her responsibilities include working with providers and community organizations on programs to improve care quality and population health. Specific areas of focus will include maternal and infant health, behavioral health, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Lasege is a board-certified neonatologist and pediatrician. Her prior experience includes serving as chief medical officer at UnitedHealthcare in Georgia and, most recently, as the Georgia market medical executive at Cigna.
