Pfizer CFO Dave Denton to Depart; Cecile Guegan Named Interim
On June 18, 2026, Pfizer announced that Chief Financial Officer Dave Denton will leave the company on August 15. Denton has accepted a position outside the pharmaceutical industry in consumer goods.

Cecile Guegan, currently Senior Vice President of Finance for the Global Biopharmaceutical Business, will become Interim CFO on August 16. Pfizer has initiated an internal and external search for a permanent successor, and Denton and Guegan will work together on the transition.
CEO Albert Bourla credited Denton with providing leadership during the company's recent transactions involving Seagen, Biohaven, and Metsera. Guegan has over two decades of experience at Pfizer and led the financial integration of Seagen in 2024.
