Scotland County Hospital Names New Medical Staff and Board Officers
Scotland County Hospital appointed new medical staff officers who took office during its April board meeting, according to a June 13 report. The new officers are Kelsey Davis-Humes, DO, as Chief of Staff; Matthew Ragsdell, DO, as Vice-Chief of Staff; and Nicholas Comstock, DO, as Secretary.

Dr. Davis-Humes is a family medicine physician, Dr. Ragsdell is an orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Comstock is an emergency department physician and hospitalist. The Chief of Staff is accountable to the Board of Directors and CEO and is responsible for enforcing medical staff bylaws.
At the same April meeting, the hospital's Board of Directors also approved new officers. Travis Trueblood was named Chairman of the Board, succeeding Lori Fulk, who served in the role for six years. The other new board officers are Jesse Zeiset as Vice Chairman, Christine Musgrove as Secretary, and Aarron Holt as Treasurer. Fulk and Nicholas Hatfield will serve as members-at-large.
Hospital CEO Dr. Meagan Weber noted that the new Chief of Staff, Dr. Davis-Humes, is participating in the National Rural Health Association Physician Leadership Certification Course.
