Novant Health names new regional presidents for Triad, Charlotte, and Coastal areas
Novant Health appointed three individuals to senior vice president and regional president positions, effective June 1. The changes affect the healthcare system's Triad, Charlotte, and Coastal regions in North Carolina.
Alisha Hutchens is the new SVP and regional president of the Triad Region. She previously served as president of Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center and COO of Forsyth Medical Center. She will continue as president of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and Novant Health Medical Park Hospital until a successor is found.
Chris Bowe was named SVP and regional president of the Charlotte Region. Bowe previously led Novant Health's Triad Region. Laurie Whalin, PharmD, is the new SVP and regional president of the Coastal Region, a role she holds while continuing to serve as president of Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
According to John Gizdic, Novant Health's executive vice president and chief operating officer, the leadership changes are designed to align regional, clinical, and enterprise leaders more closely to focus on local community needs and strategic growth.
